About Kesselman Wealth Management

We're a small, intentional practice built around one idea — that the women navigating the most significant financial moments of their lives deserve an advisor who genuinely understands what they're going through.

Jonathan Kesselman, JD, CFP®, CDFA®

President & Lead Advisor

Most people who reach out to us are navigating something significant — a retirement that's closer than it once seemed, the loss of a spouse, a divorce, or simply the realization that their financial plan needs a fresh set of eyes.

Whatever brought you here, the question underneath is almost always the same: Am I going to be okay?

That question matters deeply to me. And I want to tell you why.

I was raised by a single mother who went through a difficult divorce, and I watched her navigate financial decisions largely alone — without someone to sit with her, explain things clearly, and help her see that she was going to be okay. That experience never left me.

After studying finance at Boston University and earning my law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, I spent nearly a decade at UBS Financial Services building my expertise in financial planning, investment management, and estate planning. I launched Kesselman Wealth Management because I believed clients deserved more — more attention, more clarity, and an advisor who puts their interests first at every step.

As a former attorney, Certified Financial Planner®, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, I bring both legal fluency and financial experience to every client relationship. I understand how legal and financial decisions intersect — and I can speak plainly about both without the jargon.

But what my clients tell me they value most isn't my credentials. It's that I actually listened.
